(avoid) prolonged exposure

We are speeding up you know.

Time

is felt differently then that of our great

grand parents.

It's funny,

people used to think

if you could get a camera

to take a picture fast enough,

that you could capture sprites,

fairies

and the restless dead

upon those glass surfaces.

machines behaving as cameras

interpret and record time

into a different

way of seeing,

an alien way.

Fact can often

act stranger than fiction

in the right situations.

The universal neutonian,

einsteinian,

hawkian systems

lain bare at

40,000 frames per second

an unbroken sequence of

momento mori

reveal invisible experiences.

what if we go

the other way?

what can be revealed

not through slicing time

into incomprehensible fractions,

but through compressing seconds

or minutes

into a single frame.

through the compression

of time itself

into a single moment?

what will we see?
